WHAT SHIFT IS
A room that expects an answer.
SHIFT is a small, in-person group in Ljubljana for people who build apps. Founders, indie developers, solo operators shipping real products.
Everyone states what they will do before the next session. Everyone comes back and reports what actually happened. That is the entire mechanism, and it is the reason it works.
No pitching. No panels. No audience. Just the people doing the work and the standard they hold each other to.
THE FORMAT
Four steps, every cycle.

DECLARE
You state one concrete outcome for the next cycle. Specific enough that anyone in the room can tell whether you hit it.

BUILD
You go away and do the work. The group is on call between sessions when you are stuck or need a second opinion.

REPORT
You come back and say what shipped and what did not. Honestly. A missed target is useful information, not a failure.

RECALIBRATE
The group pressure-tests what went wrong, and you set the next target with better calibration than last time.
WHO IT'S FOR
People who already build.
- You are actively building an app, product or business right now.
- You work mostly alone and feel the lack of external pressure.
- You can get to central Ljubljana in person, consistently.
- You want to be held to what you said, not congratulated for showing up.
It is not for people looking for co-founders, investors, clients or an audience.

Where and how often does SHIFT meet?
We meet in person in Ljubljana, on a regular cycle. The exact venue and time go out by email before each session.
How much does it cost?
€39 per month. Cancel anytime.
Do I need a launched product or company?
No. You need to be actively building something and willing to commit to a target in front of other people. Pre-launch is fine.
Is it only for technical founders?
Mostly, but not strictly. The common thread is that you are building an app or product yourself, not managing someone else who does.
What language are the sessions in?
Sessions run in whichever language everyone in the room shares, usually Slovenian or English. Write in either.
How do I join?
